lighting overload

Two posts in one day, I'm on a roll.

I have a recent obsession with lighting. I love it. Everyone should. Let me show you why...

There are so many different ways to do lighting, and to do it good.
I'm going to break this into sections...today im doing chandeliers.

Chandeliers:
Designers Fountain San Mateo Traditional Chandelier - DF-91403-AO
This simple, yet elegant, lighting fixture is perfect for a breakfast room. Dont get me wrong, you can do WHATEVER you want in your own home, just a suggestion!

This chadelier says drama. If you want your guests to immediatly look up when they walk into your house, then this my dear friends is what you are looking for. Sea Gull Lighting is very well known for the elegance in their lighting... visiting their site is a must!

PLC Lighting Rondo Modern / Contemporary Chandelier - PLC-36621-PC

Not into the fancy old world charm look? NO PROBLEM.
Check out this beauty.. a great lighting fixture at a great price.. what more could you want?!

This one screams elegance. I cannot believe how inexpensive this one in.. normaly crystal chandeliers are a very pretty penny but this company has very fair prices and I would defenitly check them out!

Kenroy Home Twigs 6 Light Chandelier [90900BRZ]
Now, here is the way you a do an antler chandelier RIGHT. I love the country look dont get me wrong, but some anlter chandiliers are more of antlers with a light on it, not a chandilier. Here there is symmetry, class, and country all in one. The perfect fit for that country home or cozy cabin.

Thats all for now my loves...XO

My New Obsession...

Okay friends, I will admit, I have ALWAYS been a Kirkland's fan. Great decor, Great prices, Great customer service... but lately I have just fallen in LOVE with them. No, they aren't lavish... No, they aren't extravagant... BUT they are the perfect place for everyday people to find something beautiful. So now that I have that off my chest let me show you some of my favorites from them.. enjoy.

This beautiful Copper Swirl Bistro table is only $119.99... can you say c'est magnifique?!?!
You can put this beauty on your patio to enjoy a nice summer morning coffee with your significant other... the perfect way to start your morning!

Great colors!
This doormat is only $12.99.. Do I even need to say anything else?
Yeah, I didn't think so!

Olive Branch Wine holder... ON SALE for $19.99!!!
This wine holder accommodates up to 4 bottles of wine! Not a wine drinker? No problem! Just fill this up with bottles of olive oil and whatever else you may need in your kitchen.

Well friends, I could keep going forever with all this Kirkland's stuff but I should stop myself now before I go overboard. I hope I have converted some of you to Kirkland's lovers just like me!!!

Catching up a bit..

Hello friends.. I am sorry it has been so long but I am back at it!! So lets get y'all caught up...

Its spring time! Time to pull back those dark dusty window treatments and freshen up your home a bit. I know we cant all afford to completely redecorate our homes with lavish clean new furniture BUT we can spruce it up a bit with some springtime accessories!! I have found a few GREAT ideas to make your spring home feel..well...dashing, of course.

Today I am going to focus on one particular vendor, sundance. From footwear to clothes to gifts and decor this place seriously HAS IT ALL. And their decor section proves it...

Enjoy-

These Springtime bath towels may be a little bold for your normal spring colors, but hey step outside the box. Susy Smith next door will have her boring pastel pink, mint, and yellow drab towels and you will wow your guests with these..
The best part is they cut you a great deal when you buy more than one :)

I don't know about you, but this makes me thirsty. Not only is this piece adorable but its also functional... double whammy. For just $125 this can be the star of your spring time kitchen!

How adorable is this pillow? It takes this cold leather chair and turns it into an inviting spring time lounger! I immediately fell in love with it, but what shocked me the most is this pillow is only $55. Now for sundance, this is an amazing deal!

Now finish off your spring decorations with this cute little thing. Although you may think, "it looks like a kindergartner made that," isn't springtime all about the fun? It doesn't get much more fun than this when it comes to table top decorations!

All of these items came from sundance: http://www.sundancecatalog.com/home.do

Visit their site for SO MUCH more, you wont be disappointed.

I'm out.

Bedtime..

Given that I am about to go to bed and that I am in the Christmas spirit, today I want to show you one of my favorite beds ever:

This sleigh bed is magnificent. I love it. The dark wood, the flawless curves, and the exquisite detail explains why this bed from www.restorationhardware.com charges a pretty penny for it. If you are in the market for a new bed, GET IT. It will be a great investment!!!

Of course I cant just stop here with the Christmas spirit!!!

I found these perfect little Christmas accents to add to any bed, chair, or couch!!
How precious are those pillows? There are plenty more to choose from at: http://luxurychristmaspillows.com/decorative-pillows-2/

I hope Ive helped you get into the Christmas Spirit as much as me!!!!

Sweet dreams.

Black Friday Deal

While I was shopping today getting some great deals I came across this amazing deal that I just had to share with you!!! The best part? You don't have to leave your house and fight the crowds! You can find it online at:

This wreath is great!! And the price is great too: $63!!! Its a Black Friday deal so today is the only day you can get this great deal on this gorgeous wreath! Both color options are GREAT. If your having trouble deciding which one just think about all your current decor and where you will put the wreath. Most people will probably choose the red and white one because it matches most decor, but if you can make the green one work GET IT!!! Don't be afraid to take a little risk :)

Happy Shopping Everyone!

Now it's on to Christmas..

I hope that everyone had a great thanksgiving! I know you are all probably laying over your desks, stuffed with food like me. But I do know that a lot of families have the tradition of setting up their Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving so I want to give you all just a little help!

Christmas trees are amazing. They are the symbol of the holidays, but have you ever thought of having exterior Christmas trees? If not.. you should! They are very inexpensive and give the perfect finishing touch to your porch for the holidays. After shopping around for some, I found the perfect set:

You can find this set at: http://www.frontgate.com/
They set of trees are 3' tall, pre-lighted with your choice of color, and are on sale for only $69.95!!!
These are a great steal that will be a great investment, trust me!

Happy Christmas Decorating to all and to all a good night!
